Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at annasbeautyspa@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Lash extensions are use synthetic, faux mink or silk fibers that are applied strand by strand with lashes glue to your own lashes to enhance your eye shape.  Extensions, on the other hand, attach to the lashes themselves, so they grow out naturally and can be customized to create specific depth and elongation to your eye shape for the exact effect you crave.

Traditional false eyelashes, which you remove after each use, are applied directly to the skin and have pre-designed depth and layers that don't take your unique eye shape into account.

  1. Avoid getting them wet for up to 24 hours after application.
  2. Clean with eyelash foam cleanser at least every 3 days
  3. Brush through your eyelash tips in the morning
  4. Do not use oil based products around or on the eyes
  5. Do not sleep on your face
  6. Do not rub or touch eyes
  7. Stay on top of your infills (recommended every 2 - 3 weeks

A full set will last as long as your natural lash cycle, which is anywhere from 4-6 weeks, depending on the individual. We recommend getting a fill anywhere between 2 and 3 weeks .

Our artists can apply a beautiful Full Set of Classic Lashes in 90-120 minutes. We ask you to  generally plan on 60-75 minutes for a fill. We like to remove any grown out lashes, clean them up, and make your lashes look brand new every time you come in, this will ensure the retention and life of your extensions.

Eyelash extensions falling out is entirely natural – they are glued to your actual eyelashes and the rate at which they fall out is directly linked to the rate at which your natural lashes fall out.  This process is nonstop, with people shedding anywhere from 1 to 5 natural eyelashes each day. This means that you could lose 1 to 5 eyelash extensions per day.

We recommend you contact the spa as soon as possible (within 24 - 48hours). We will probably recommend you come in to get the eyelash extensions removed professionally. Please do not remove yourself by pulling or putting any products on at home that will damage your lashes.

Lip blushing is semi-permanent, tattooed makeup that tints your lips using a cosmetic tattoo gun (on a low setting) and water-based inks. The result is kind of similar to lip fillers—in that your lips will look a little fuller simply by being defined and enhanced with pigment—but lip blushing won’t actually change the shape or feeling of your lips. Instead, it’ll just leave you with a soft, shaded-in color that can enhance your lip symmetry, cover uneven pigmentation or scars, and give you the illusion of bigger, fuller lips.

Semi-permanent lip blushing enhances the natural shape of your lips, giving them a boost of vitality and color. It is a semi-permanent make up treatment that gives a flush of color and defines the lip contours.

Yes you can but be aware that the stimulation from the needle can bring on a cold sore. This can mean the healing time will be longer. If you're prone to cold sores, it's a good idea to take any preventative measures before your procedure. Eligibility for lip blushing is subject to approval by the artist.

If you have anti-wrinkle injections (such as Botox), or lip fillers (such as Restalyne), do not undergo any cosmetic tattoo procedures with 14 days of injections. I also suggest waiting  a week to 10 days to allow any swelling associated with the permanent makeup application to subside before having any injectiables post a cosmetic tattoo procedures. Swelling from this procedure can obscure the shape of your lips, and may not give optimal augmentation.

  •  Remember, place nothing on the treated area (except your aftercare product) until healed. This this means no makeup, creams, water (except for cleansing as detailed below), etc.
  •  After your procedure, your skin will start forming a protective scab. You may see fluid or ooze on the skin from lymph secretion.
  • After 24 hours, clean the treated area daily with mild warm water. Apply warm water on a sterile gauze and blot 4 to 5 times to clean. Then blot completely dry. Use patting motions only. No Scrubbing. No rubbing. No wiping. No scratching. Make sure the area is completely dry because germs love moisture!
  • Lips will ooze for a couple days and peel for a week or so. After sleeping, crust will have dried on the lips. Blot with water. Clean and apply aftercare product as directed. Try not to disturb the crust when cleaning and let it fall off by itself. Picking and pulling off skin that is not ready to come off will cause pigment loss and can pull out deeper tissue. The edges or lip liner will be the last to fall off. Pulling this off will result in an uneven splotchy line or an indented scar.
  •  Apply aftercare product on the clean and dry treated area. Place the ointment on the scabs that are beginning to form. If you place ointment on the area and it is not dry, this may cause irritation or an infection and could lead to color loss.
  •  Keep your lips moist all the times with the aftercare product. After approximately 3 weeks after the procedure when no more scabs are present, discontinue the aftercare product. Begin to apply sunblock appropriate for lips to protect the pigment and a good lip balm.
  •  Lips will be tender at first after the procedure. Drink only through a straw. Choose to only eat foods you can place in your mouth with a fork without touching the lips.
  •  Do not eat spicy foods or hot liquids for 72 hours after your procedure. It’s a good idea not to eat oily foods, salty foods, acidic foods or alcohol while healing.
  • Do not get toothpaste on your lips. It’s a good idea to brush your teeth with just water for 72 hours post-treatment.
  •  Do not bleach your teeth or do lip filler until your lips are healed.
  •  Do not excessively stretch lips while they are healing with big smiles or pucker lips with smoking. Those motions push and pull against the lip edges, applying tension and friction between the strong normal skin surrounding the mouth and the broken inflamed lip edges. Lip skin is a continuation of the delicate mucous membrane of the mouth. It is not strong like normal skin

Microblading is the artistic technique done using a manual method of permanent makeup that replicates the look of natural hair growth in the eyebrow. Individual hair strokes are placed in the same direction of the existing hair to create a seamless and natural look. The results can last anywhere from 12 months up to 24 months depending on the skin type and lifestyle. A touch up every 18-24 months is recommended. Eligibility for Microblading is subject to approval by the artist.

The eyebrow area will be slightly red after the procedure and color will appear very dark. This is normal for the procedure and part of the healing process. The color will fade by up to 40% as it heals. In the following days, the eyebrows will continue to be dark and you will notice slight scabbing. Do not pick at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the microbladed area. The eyebrows will lighten up in color as it heals. No down time is required after microblading procedure.  It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. You'll notice the color is very light right after the two weeks after healing. This is due to the the tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface of the skin is healed. True color will reveal itself once healed.

Non-Invasive mesotherapy is an advanced, safe, and effective method, that is an alternative to classical mesotherapy, only without the use of needles. This method is without injections, risks, bruising, swelling or any other inflammation. Its deep, machine controlled, application of active ingredients of skin rejuvenation serum, hyaluronic acid, and active substances are launched deep into the skin tissues via electrical pulses and laser technology. The processes have a nice relaxing effect. Non-invasive mesotherapy is ideal for moisturizing, rejuvenating and firming skin and wrinkles.

Light therapy is a treatment that has been around for 30 years. It's the process of exposing skin to red, blue, green, cyan, yellow, purple, white and near-infrared LED light which each have various skincare benefits. When used regularly, LED light therapy can be used to reduce breakouts, pigmentation, rosacea symptoms, psoriasis and other side-effects of inflammation. If you don't suffer from the above complaints, LED light therapy can simply help to improve the appearance of your skin. The LED emits light of a specifc wavelength, penetrates the surface layer of the skin and reaches the lower layer of skin, increases blood circulation and generates rich collagen and elastin,  which then reduces acne, fades wrinkles, removes spots increasing the skin elasticity and return skin to a young and energetic state.

Blue - tightens skin and controls oils

Green - calms the skin, relieves nervous tension

Orange  - stimulates the circulation of blood; accelerates metabolism

Yellow - fades spots; improves skin redness and swelling

Red - improves acne; fades spots; increases skin elasticity

Purple - purifies and repairs skin; promotes skin cell growth
